What can I say...this was just a blast.

5 musicians in a room all playing and the brilliant

Nell Ní Chróinín singing live as well.

We had just a couple of days, but what fun.

Again it strikes me how traditional musicians are so diligent when it comes

to production values and sound quality.

I suppose its the nature of the fact that it is about the instruments and playing

and singing...

It was a pleasure not to have to try and get a whole album done in 2-3 days

and wonder ponderously about whether that chord or this note could be done in a "better" way.

Rock bands could learn a lot from the traditional bands when it comes to production!
